The 2012 Mercedes SLK blurs the line between sports car, luxury car, and convertible. The exterior recently got an updated design and looks more like the more expensive SL-Class and SLS Roadster models. With a base price of $54,800 the SLK350 is still a cheap enough sports car to be enjoyed by the masses. The 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 is powered by a 3.5L V-6 engine that produces 302 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. 0-60 MPH is over in a scant 5.4 seconds. Fuel economy figures are 20 MPG in the city and 29 MPG on the highway. The SLK350 features a retracting hardtop, 18-inch rims, 7-speed automatic transmission, multi-media package, eight airbags, and adaptive brakes just to name a few. Rest assured Mercedes-Benz has packed the 2012 SLK350 with all the bells and whistles you would come to expect from the luxury car company.
The 2011 Audi A4 comes in two different body style: A sedan styles and a wagon version. Gone is the naturally aspirated V6 engine. The only motor of choice is the 2.0L turbo charged inline 4. This little 4 banger does it’s job with a healthy 211hp and 258 lb. ft. of torque on tap. Transmission choice are either the spirited 6 speed manual or the nice smooth shifting automatic. Fuel economy checks in at 23mpg in the city and 30mpg on the highway. Power is transferred through quarto all wheel drive or front wheel drive as an option. Since there is such a big demand for the Super Snake package, Shelby Automobiles will be unveilling a new program to turn a number of 2010 Ford Shelby GT500s into Super Snake cars. The output ratings for these cars will be from 630 to 725 horsepower.
