As far as mechanical, Mugen has stiffened and lowered the Civic SI’s springs by 0.6 inches, stiffened the shocks, and changed the wheels to a lightweight 18×7.5 (to increase the Mugen SI’s track skill). The additional spring rate, better shocks, and stickier tires provide a much more poised platform than ever before. The exhaust has also been modified and is loud enough to make you forget the thoughts in your head. Mugen also added some nice aero pieces such as a front spoiler, grille, side skirts, bumper diffuser and a rear wing to make it look more appealing.
